I’m Hannah Illingworth, the owner of HI Virtual. Over the past twenty years, I’ve worked in a variety of administrative based roles, mainly within the NHS. My roles have always focussed on providing high quality support and included managing large teams of administrators, working to tight deadlines, communicating effectively with a wide range of people, implementing effective systems, and facilitating continuous improvement.
I started life as Commercial Officer in the Ministry of Defence, negotiating and placing high value contracts, before moving to the NHS where I was responsible for managing an Acute Hospital Trust’s performance against a number of key government targets, providing support to Directors, managing complaints (including providing resolution), and undertaking a number of service improvement projects.
I took a career break a few years ago to look after our three children (which took my organisational skills to a whole different level!) but kept my skills up by supporting charities on a voluntary basis and becoming Chair of Governors for one of the children’s schools.
As a military family, returning to employment was proving challenging thanks to frequent house moves, and that’s why I took the leap and set up HI Virtual. My clients are based all over the country and their businesses vary from web developer to business coach to a horse riding stables. I generally work remotely but can be present for events/occasional site visits if required. It doesn’t matter where we happen to live in the country, working virtually means my business just comes with me.
With exceptional communication and organisational skills, I pride myself on being approachable, flexible and adaptable (all of which are musts when your other half is in the military!). When you work with me, you can be confident that your business is in safe hands and that any work I do will be to the highest standard.
